Leadership and management (28 Credits)

The workshop introduces the concept and current models of leadership and proceeds to explore social awareness and emotionally intelligent leadership skills and practices. Also, the matters of management functions, i.e. decision making and main tasks, and change managment in an organisation are further discussed.

The skills programme is aligned to unit standard:

120305 "Analyse the role that emotional intelligence plays in leadership". 8 credits

14667   "Describe and apply the management functions of an organization." 10 credits
