Public participation in the IDP process (28 Credits)

The workshop looks at how appropriate development interventions are designed, how sound communication principles are applied and how effective participation in the development process in realised. People are the central focus and the course explores how the voices of the people can be heard and integrated into the IDP process and intervention design.

The skills programme is aligned to unit standard:

119346 "Apply sound communication principles in the coordination of public sector communications programmes". 10 credits

120499 "Design and implement a set of engagement and participation processes, systems and events in support of IDP". 8 credits
