Strategic planning and implementation (20 Credits)

The workshop provides detailed guidance on how to conduct strategic planning by using the LogFrame method, and how to prepare and Operational Plan that links strategic planning with effective implementation. The module prepares participants to play a role in determining the development mandate and direction of a municipality by sytematically working through practical tools that can be immediately applied in the workplace.

The skills programme is aligned to unit standard:

120508 "Determine the development mandate and direction of a municipal area". 10 credits

120311 "Apply visionary leadership to develop strategy". 10 credits
